BR1-06: The Ugly Duckling

Quack! Quack!   It was Spring and mother duck was sitting on her eggs. "Soon my eggs will open, and my baby ducklings will be here," she thought. She was right. (p.3)

I knew this book and the story before because my mother and my teacher who was a nurse read to me. I was too pity that the ugly duckling received terrible treatment. For instance, he was laughed by two white ducks, a hen and a cat said “Go away” to her and the other things. If I am him, I’ll choose death because I don’t want to live. Eventually, he had grown into a beautiful swan when he saw himself in the water. This book teaches me a lot of things. If you are in a hard lot, you have to live harder, and you’ll happen something good later. I want you to read this one. Thank you for your reading. (121 words)
