BR1-05: Jack and the BEANSTALK

  Once upon a time there was a little boy. His name was Jack and he lived with his mother in a small house in the forest. They were very poor.(p.3)

  I like this book from early childhood so I want to read again. I think you know this book and story well. It is very interesting for me to read this one. I was excited that Jack did: for instance, he climbed a big beanstalk, he was not scary a horrible giant, he took a big bag of gold, a magic hen and the giant’s golden harp and so on. However, I think his acts are as if a thief. What did he and his mother spend every day if he meets an old man and gives five beans on the road? If I’m his position, I don’t give them. (110 words)

BR1-04: Peter Pan

  Once upon a time, in London, there was a little girl, Wendy. She loved reading stories to her brothers, John and Michael. Their favorite stories were about Pete Pan. (p.3) 

  I like literary works of Walt Disney and Peter Pan is one of them. I think you know this book and this story. I wanted to go to Never Land and fly the sky freely when I was a child. If I use magic and go there, I want to fly, to play with mermaids, to see and fight pirates with Peter Pan. What do you want to do if he comes to your house and you use magic? Wendy said “But we can’t fly” to Peter Pan. He said to her. “It’s easy! Just think about lovely things” I thought that it was really easy. I also thought Wendy mother was too lenient because she agreed the Lost Boys could stay.(122 words)

BR1-03: Pinocchio

  Once upon a time there was... a piece of wood. Lying in a corner of the carpenter's workshop, it looked just like any other piece of wood. The carpenter's name was Mr.Cherry and he needed a table leg. "Perfect!" he said, catching sight of the wood. He rested against his worktop and picked up a chisel. As the chisel touched the wood, a voice cried out... (p.3 and 4)

   I like literary works of Walt Disney and I was interested in the book of the original. I like Pinocchio one of them so I also read. This book was too different from Pinocchio that Walt Disney wrote, but he became human being at the last. If Gepetto of his biological parent and the carpenter had not met, he was not born. Then he was left to the tender mercy of his biological parent and he was pretty. I am jealous of his for taking care. If he is adult, he is good his parent in the future. I want you to read this book when you have free time. (110 words)

  Good evening, every one. How’s it going? What are you doing now? I’m sleepy and I’m in school library: there are few students now. After I took Spanish III, I went here soon and I went to bed about 1 about for 1 hour. I paralyzed my right hand when I got up.

  By the way, it is hot recently, isn’t it? I think it is hot. I like hot day better than cold day. Which do you like better, summer or winter? Incidentally, I like summer the best in the season by far.

  To change the subject, I’m going to tell you about today’s diary.

  

  I did not sleep at all so I was too sleepy. I almost went to bed in my class. First period was an English education class. Being sleepy, I got my teacher. I always have to practice read aloud because I will take a reading test. Second period was no class so I dropped by my university friend’s house. When I left for her house, I saw a boy that I broken-hearted recently. I was sad while I wanted to cry. I did work at my exercises and taught her how to carry image of book review. I was glad you understood my explanation. Then I talked about a lot of conversation with her. At twelve, she made home-made dish for me. It was broccoli dish which I don’t like and I’m not able to eat. By the way, do you like it? She taught me how to make it. Strangely I was able to have. Why could I eat it, when broccoli flied and flavored only salt and pepper? I want to eat someday. Third period was an introduction to linguistics. I was too sleepy more than 1^st class. I felt this class is too long and I couldn’t concentrate my attention. Fourth period was Spanish III. Before it began, I talked Spanish teacher. I think he remains strange person. I learned figure from 10 to 12, conjugation and some phrases.

BR1-02: ALLADIN & HIS MAGICAL LAMP

  There was once a lazy boy named Aladdin. His dad, who had to run the family business alone, died of worry. Aladdin's mother was in despair. (p.3)

  I like literary works of Walt Disney who is  founder of Mickey Mouse among people and I like Aladdin one of them so I read. This story was too different from Walt Disney wrote. For instance, Aladdin’s wife name was varied and Aladdin’s mother was or was not. But there is a similarity between this and a literary work of Walt: Aladdin married. I found that I’m not always counting on somebody to help me. However, I think it is funny if I am able to use magic. Here’s where it’s interesting so I want you to read this book. (100 words)

Food/eating habits

  Do you have food habits? Incidentally, I have some food habits.

  First I eat nothing at midnight but I eat something recently whenever I am hungry. I eat chocolate at night so I have pimples my face.

  Second I exercise such as take a walk, jog and so on to watch my waistline when I have free time. I play badminton once a week in my school so I don't like that. I think I gain knowledge more.

  Finally, I reduce sugar intake. According to TV programs, it is too dangerous to ingest sugars. At first, I don't quite eat them.

Emi's post (rewrite: my treasures)

  Maybe I have two treasures at the moment. I ever have not thought about this so it was too difficult for me to give an answer.

  First, music is one of my treasures. I like listening to music very much and my hobbies are the same. My favorite singers are Bump of Chicken, Radwimps, Cherryblossom, Does, Aika Yoshioka, Pornograffitti, Mr. Children, Avril Lavigne, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Backstreet Boys, The Beatles and many others. Their music makes me happy and at ease. I also like the songs of animated cartoons. They cheer me up when I listen to them. Whenever I’m sad or angry, I listen to them and I sometimes sing. I generally sing loudly when there is nobody in my house. I also like to go karaoke favorites. I sometimes go there alone. I always sing my karaoke specialty. Karaoke helps reduce stress so much. That is why I think that music is one of my treasures. Incidentally, I have a lot of memories. Generally speaking, they can divide the pupils into two. First of all, animated cartoon’s effect is this. I like watching and reading animated cartoons and comic books. They made an impression. Especially, I like especially opening songs more than ending songs. Second, my acquaintances recommended songs to me. I wanted to listen to music more so they gave me their favorites. Then, they answered to me. I owe them thanks for advising me now because I was able to meet a lot of songs.

  Finally, my treasure is animated cartoon and comic books. I did not watch and read them at the beginning a long time ago. When I was a junior high school student, I met them first. My friend she and I were in the same class when I was a junior high school student and my older sister had a lot of comic books so I borrowed same. But they were girl’s comic books. I became absorbed in boy’s comic books when I was a high school student. I belonged to the drama club when I was a high school student. I was not able to put up with conversations of my friends in the club, so I read boy’s comic books to keep up. I still remember that I was addicted to them enough that I read them until midnight. Now, I love them. If I have free time, I read them all day long.

Ate too much x(

　　Good evening, everyone. How’s it going? What are you doing now? I’m drawing a picture that is my university friends. I’m drawing for a long time so I can not do well.

　　 By the way, how did you spend yesterday? I got up about 10 o’clock and took it easy for a minute. I went to school library to borrow a book which I wrote last time at six. After I borrowed it, I felt good so I went to Daiei. First, I had a meal as I didn’t eat all day long. I had a cheeseburger, potato and melon soda at MOS BURGER. It was too tasted. The cheese melted in the mouth.

　　After I had them, I had an ice cream to cleanse my palate at 31 ice cream shop. I heard that the shop reduce the price by 31% from my acquaintance before. Incidentally, I ate hopping shower and cream soda. It cost 290 yen. It was too tasted and sweet. I had for a long time because I do not quite have. I want to eat again.

　　Then, I looked for bazaar. I bought an umbrella and pumps that it cost about 1600 yen. In really, I wanted to buy shoes but the shoes didn’t fit my legs. I was shocked. I thought my legs are too big. Strictly speaking, my shoes size is 24.5. Do you think my shoes size is big? I don’t think so.

  Finally, I went aboard the train at eight. I had a good time all right. Now, I have a lot of reports to present so I’ll finish writing this time. Thank you for your reading. See you next time.
